What “do not use if it changes color” means

The label’s Do not use line reads: If this product changes color. It asks you to notice a change, not to judge the color on its own.

The starting point

Product appears as a milky brown solution. The natural oil-based ingredients give it that look. The eye drops have a naturally milky-brown appearance. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the product.

What counts as a change

A bottle that no longer looks the way it did when it arrived. The FAQ says it directly: do not use the product if the color changes from how it arrived. It helps to take a good look at a new bottle the first time you open it, so you have something to compare against later.

What to do

Stop using that bottle. If a new bottle looks wrong straight out of the package, call 615.465.6041, M–F 9AM–5PM CST, before using it, and have your order number ready.

Storing it properly

The label’s storage line reads: Store between 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F). How to store eye drops covers where that leaves you at home and away.
